MINISFORUM's New AI Mini Workstation MS-S1 MAX-P495 Launching Soon

MINISFORUM has confirmed that its new AI mini workstation MS-S1 MAX-P495, powered by the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 processor, will go on sale this month. The device features 192GB of LPDDR5X-8533 unified memory, with up to 160GB allocatable as video memory for demanding AI tasks.

In real-world local AI deployments, the MS-S1 MAX-P495 runs DeepSeek V4 Flash 284B with Q4 quantization at 15 tokens per second, and a 122B model with Q8 quantization at 27 tokens per second. It also supports Q8 high-precision quantization with the full 131K context resident.

MINISFORUM previously launched the MS-S1 MAX-395 based on the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395. The new model shares most specs with its predecessor, with the main upgrade being the processor. This workstation targets AI developers and enterprise users, offering efficient and flexible local inference capabilities.
