Moonshot AI launches Kimi finance solution, adopted by ICBC and dozens of firms

Chinese AI company Moonshot AI has launched a finance solution for its Kimi assistant, combining its financial products and capabilities. It covers over 10 authoritative data sources, 9 finance skills, 5 compliance and security measures, plus institutional-level data modeling and report delivery.

The solution offers portfolio morning briefs, earnings reviews, project screening, deep research and portfolio reviews. It connects data gathering, professional analysis and delivery, cutting work that used to take days down to hours and easing pressure on traders.

It includes data sources such as Wind, East Money, S&P Global, Cailian Press and Caixin Data. Data connects directly to research services through MCP, and key figures can be traced back to their original sources. It also integrates academic paper search, Office file generation, and image and voice tools. Kimi's browser extension and Computer Use let the Agent use browsers and desktop apps with authorization, so systems without APIs can join the workflow.

Dozens of institutions have adopted the solution, including ICBC, CITIC Securities, E Fund, Sequoia China and ZhenFund.
