OpenAI Brings GPT-6 Models and Smart UI to All ChatGPT Users

OpenAI announced on X that its GPT-6 series models and Intelligent UI are now available to all ChatGPT users. ChatGPT has over 1.2 billion weekly active users worldwide, who were previously on the GPT-5.6 series.

Over the past few months, OpenAI released the GPT-6 Astra, Sol and Luna models, which were only available for ChatGPT Work and Codex. This update now covers all users.

With the Intelligent UI, GPT-6 can mix text, images and interactive elements in replies based on user questions. Responses can include charts and graphs, plus clickable buttons, forms and other interactive parts.

In an official example, users can learn mahjong through the interface, with interactive visuals responding in real time as they learn and try things out, making the experience more intuitive.
