OpenClaw Founder Talks About Sino-US AI Application Differences: Chinese Companies Force Employees to Use AI, US Restricts It
Peter Steinberger, the founder of OpenClaw, pointed out in a Bloomberg interview that there are huge differences in AI application between China and the US. Chinese companies enthusiastically embrace AI, with some even forcing employees to use OpenClaw to improve efficiency; while US companies restrict its use due to safety concerns.
He summarized this difference: "In the US, some companies may fire you for using OpenClaw; in China, many companies may fire you for not using it." Steinberger believes the US can learn from China's experience in rapid adoption of new technologies, understanding AI's potential and avoiding security vulnerabilities through hands-on experience.
