OpenClaw, Open-Source AI Agent, Gains Popularity; Shenzhen Longgang Unveils 'Lobster Ten' Policy to Support Its Development
Still wasting time on repetitive office tasks? OpenClaw, an open-source AI agent, is becoming a new favorite. It not only chats but also automatically handles file organization, email sending, and other practical work, freeing you from tedious chores.
Recently, Shenzhen Longgang District released the "Measures to Support the Development of OpenClaw&OPC (Draft for Comments)" (nicknamed "Lobster Ten"), offering up to 2 million yuan in incentives for AI agent tool development and application, and encouraging platforms to set up "Lobster Service Zones". Tencent also quickly responded by opening an official entry in QQ; users can scan a QR code to create their own robots, making it easy even for beginners.
OpenClaw's core strength is its ability to "act": it needs to connect to a large language model (like ChatGPT or Tongyi Qianwen) as its "brain" for thinking, and gain system permissions as its "body" to execute tasks. For example, just say "organize this week's emails into a weekly report", and it can automatically complete the entire process from logging into your email, extracting information, generating the document to sending it.
Tips for new users: Prioritize cloud deployment (e.g., Alibaba Cloud image) or QQ entry; avoid using high permissions on work computers; choose officially certified, high-download tools when installing skills to ensure safety.
