Palantir and Nvidia Team Up to Bring Sovereign AI to Supply Chains, Starting With Nvidia's Own Operations
Palantir and Nvidia announced a partnership to bring sovereign AI to critical supply chains, starting with Nvidia's own production operations. The two companies will build an AI stack that connects Nvidia's open-source Nemotron models to Palantir Foundry and its Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP), supported by Palantir's ontology framework.
The stack aims to give supply chains better visibility, spot production bottlenecks, and help make decisions at machine speed, while keeping companies in control of their own proprietary data. Nvidia's supply chain covers millions of parts and thousands of suppliers, and its Vera Rubin rack involves 1.3 million components.
Customers can use Foundry and AIP to fine-tune Nemotron models with their own business data and build a custom supply chain AI stack. Nvidia cuOpt software supports optimization and scenario planning, while supply chain experts keep the final say.
The system is built on the companies' jointly developed Palantir Sovereign AI Operating System reference architecture (SAIOS), with support from Dell Technologies and Cisco. It can run on-premises or in cloud environments, and the partners plan to expand it to manufacturing, energy, healthcare, automotive, and aerospace.
