Qianli Tech shows ASD 4.1 preview, teams up with Geely and Stepfun for car AI
At the 2026 World AI Conference, Qianli Tech showed a preview of ASD 4.1 with three key features: smooth door-to-door driving from basements to towns, better recognition of small animals and special vehicles using a physical AI model, and voice control for driving. They plan to launch ASD 5.0 by the end of the year.
On the operating system side, Stepfun launched Step AOS, an agent-native OS. Qianli Tech will use it in cars. Step AOS has memory, decision-making, and safety features. It turns hardware and system abilities into resources that AI agents can use directly. Users just say what they want, and the agent handles the rest.
Qianli Tech, Geely, and Stepfun also showed "Super Eva," a car AI agent powered by Step 3.7 Flash. It understands natural language and multiple languages, turns vague travel needs into navigation routes, and can call local services like ordering tickets via mini-apps. It's already in the Zeekr 8X and will expand to other brands.
