RCAP Asia-Pacific Robot World Cup Beijing Center Opens, Focused on Robot Industry Globalization
The RCAP Asia-Pacific Robot World Cup Beijing Center officially opened on June 2 at the Zhongguancun AI Space Industrial Park in Beijing's Chaoyang district. As RCAP's first regional center globally, it will integrate the international event system and tech network of the Asia-Pacific Robot World Cup, aiming to build a public service platform linking Beijing with the global robot industry.
The center focuses on three tasks: organizing selection tournaments and connecting international spots, linking global technology with China's industrial chain, and nurturing talent while setting standards. Over 2,000 square meters of testing space has been reserved at the park for teams to debug, certify, and test their robots.
The second World Humanoid Robot Games have been announced for August in Beijing, adding new events like tug-of-war, weightlifting, and pitch-pot, pushing robot tech into real-world competition.
