Report Predicts China's Active AI Agents to Reach 197 Million by 2030, Computing Market to Hit $150.1 Billion

A report on China's AI computing power development was released. It says AI is moving from creating content to completing tasks. The number of active AI agents worldwide is expected to grow from 79.4 million in 2026 to 2.216 billion by 2030.

China had 4.95 million active AI agents in 2026. That number is expected to reach 197 million by 2030, with a yearly growth rate of 151.2%.

Investment in computing power is also growing fast. By 2030, the global AI computing market is expected to reach $1.25 trillion, with China's market hitting $150.1 billion. Both are four times the size of 2025.
