Shandong Art Museum Removes AI-Generated Child Painting, China Artists Association Revokes Qualification
Recently, at the 'Children's Picture Book Exhibition' held by the Shandong Art Museum, a work titled 'Putting Summer in the Backpack' drew public criticism due to abnormal details. The piece, by an author surnamed Chen from Hubei Province, showed children with distorted fingers, possible six fingers, and three hands in one scene, violating human anatomy.
The Shandong Art Museum office responded that the work has been removed. The China Artists Association's ethics department confirmed it was AI-generated and revoked its qualification. This incident sparks discussion on AI creation in art exhibitions, highlighting the need for stronger review mechanisms.
