Slack adds Slackforce Surfaces to Slackbot AI, letting it build interactive reports and dashboards

Slack announced a new feature called Slackforce Surfaces for its Slackbot AI assistant. Users can simply tell Slackbot what they need, and the AI will use past conversations and connected apps to create interactive reports, polls, dashboards, presentations, and microsites, which can then be shared with coworkers.

In one demo, a user asked Slackbot to make an arcade-game-themed visualization of AI token usage. The assistant generated an interactive dashboard showing token usage across sales, design, and engineering teams.

Slack has recently rolled out a major upgrade to Slackbot, which now supports summarizing info across channels, organizing chat messages, scheduling, and collaborative Vibe Coding. It is free to use without a subscription.
