Tencent launches 'Toast', an AI app for non-coders to create apps

Tencent's AI-powered app 'Toast' is now on the Apple App Store, with an Android version released last month. It's a 'vibe coding' tool that lets anyone without coding skills create apps easily.

The app focuses on 'idea realization' and 'co-creation'. Users can use AI to organize features and refine apps. There's an inspiration square with templates, and users can remix existing ones, creating a loop from idea to app to sharing to co-creation.

Toast is 20.5MB and works on iOS 17.6, macOS 14.6, and visionOS 1.3 or later. Tencent says it's not about lowering tech barriers but helping everyone turn their ideas into real apps.
