Tencent Maps opens its Agent capabilities across AI apps and smart devices

At the 2026 Tencent Global Digital Ecosystem Conference, Tencent Maps unveiled its Agent capability panorama and opened its map Agent features to business clients, smart device makers, and developers. Products like Yuanbao, OPPO's Xiaobu Assistant, and Rokid AI glasses are already connected.

In daily use, users can plan a route in Yuanbao with just one sentence, and one-sentence ride-hailing is on the way. In cars, five Agents work together to plan multi-day family trips, suggest nearby restaurants, and read traffic in real time. With Rokid, users can book and pay for a ride just by talking through their AI glasses.

Tencent Maps is also working with HarmonyOS to move map features across devices, and teamed up with OPPO ColorOS on a smart agent mode that doubled click rates and boosted next-day user retention by nearly 1.5 times. Developers can connect through MCP Server and other friendly interfaces, and a desktop AI map workbench called LBSwork is also available.
