Tencent's Hunyuan 3.0 Model to Launch in April, Currently in Internal Testing

Tencent revealed at a media briefing after its financial report that the 3.0 version of the Hunyuan large model is currently in internal business scenario testing and is planned to be officially released in April. This upgrade is a major iteration; compared to version 2.0, it has significant improvements in model performance, reasoning ability, and agent applications.

Since the second half of 2025, the Tencent Hunyuan team has reorganized its organizational structure and R&D processes, focusing on improving data quality and rebuilding infrastructure for pre-training and reinforcement learning to accelerate model iteration and create a more intelligent base model.
