Tencent's WorkBuddy hits 9 billion task requests in 7 months

At the Tencent Global Digital Ecosystem Conference, Tencent shared the latest progress on its AI office agent WorkBuddy. Launched in March this year, the product has rolled out 100 major updates in 7 months and handled 9 billion user task requests, making it the largest AI office productivity agent in China by user scale.

Dowson Tang, Senior Executive Vice President of Tencent and CEO of the Cloud and Smart Industries Group, revealed that WorkBuddy Enterprise has been adopted in over 50 industries, covering 50% of China's top 500 companies and 60% of the top 100. The open platform now has more than 50,000 partners and developers, with over 200,000 skills listed.

WorkBuddy will fully open its product architecture, supporting both self-developed and third-party agents, including third-party IM systems. Tang said the choice of models, agents, and IM tools is all up to the enterprises. More and more companies are building a new generation of intelligent hubs on WorkBuddy.
