Tencent WorkBuddy launches 'Human-AI Co-editing', AI edits online and local docs directly

Tencent WorkBuddy today announced a new 'Human-AI Co-editing' feature, becoming the only tool that works with both online docs and local files. Users can open Tencent Docs or local files like Word, Excel, PPT, and MD via WorkBuddy, and AI edits are synced in real-time without refreshing or copy-pasting.

To use it, select text, tables, or PPT elements, click 'AI Edit', and describe what to change in plain language. AI modifies the original file instantly. WorkBuddy can also read comments in Tencent Docs and adjust content accordingly, making it easy to handle feedback.

After editing, users can invite colleagues to collaborate, allowing multiple people and AI to edit the same document together. This feature aims to boost office efficiency by reducing manual steps.
