Tencent Yuanbao App Upgrades AI Voice Recorder with Photo Capture and Internal Audio Recording

Tencent announced an upgrade to the AI Voice Recorder built into its Yuanbao App, adding features like photo capture while recording, internal device audio recording, and custom editing. It also now connects with WorkBuddy and Tencent Docs for quick sharing. Users need to update the app to V2.85.0 or above to access these features.

For offline classes, lectures, and meetings, the new photo capture feature lets users snap whiteboards, slides, or notes while recording. Audio transcription, AI summaries, and photos are automatically combined into one recording entry, so organizing notes afterward no longer requires switching between apps. The recorder also supports capturing internal audio from phones and tablets, allowing clear recording of online meetings or videos without using speakers.

After recording, users can export to Tencent Docs for team collaboration or send to WorkBuddy for AI-assisted drafting and PPT creation. For transcription errors, users can freely edit the text and AI summaries. Batch audio management is also supported for frequent users.
