Tsinghua Launches AI Research Course with Doubao

Tsinghua University announced that it will offer a course called "AI for Academic Research: Human-Machine Interactive Knowledge Production" for all students in the fall semester of 2026. The course, announced by Doubao, aims to apply cutting-edge large language models to the entire research process, including problem discovery, literature review, data analysis, and publication. It will feature industry experts and interdisciplinary faculty sharing their research experiences with AI, in collaboration with Doubao. Students can provide feedback on AI tools and become co-creators of AI academic tools. The course also includes visits to Doubao to interact with engineers. It is open to all undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students. The course content will be available on Doubao's computer app under the "Skills, Connectors, Work Partners" section's "Famous Schools" area. Previously, Doubao collaborated with Tsinghua's School of Journalism to serve as an AI teaching assistant for a course.
