World AI Conference 2026 in Shanghai sets new records in scale and debut products
The 2026 World AI Conference and High-Level Meeting on Global AI Governance will be held from July 17 to 20 in Shanghai. Organizers announced on July 7 that this year's event sets new records in exhibition scale, number of debut products, and forum sessions. The conference expands to a new layout of 'three venues and four halls' across Expo, Zhangjiang, and West Bund, with the exhibition area exceeding 100,000 square meters for the first time. Over 1,000 exhibitors will showcase more than 3,000 cutting-edge exhibits, and over 300 new AI products will make their global debut. The conference will host over 140 forums with more than 1,400 experts from home and abroad. A new academic segment debuts this year, featuring the high-level international AI academic conference 'WAIC Academic,' led by Turing Award winners and academicians. The event focuses on two core tracks: intelligent computing and embodied AI, each gathering over 200 high-quality companies to demonstrate AI's latest applications across industries.
