Xiaohongshu's AI model scores perfect at IMO
Xiaohongshu's AI model dots-note-3.0 scored a perfect 42 at the 2026 International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO), earning a gold medal. It's the first Chinese AI model to get this official recognition, and only the second globally after Google's Gemini. The model solved all six problems using natural language, without needing formal coding languages, and even came up with creative solutions for some questions. IMO gold medalists praised its answers as 'clean and elegant.' This year's gold medal threshold was 29 points, so the model's perfect score shows strong reasoning skills. The achievement marks Xiaohongshu's first major public display of its AI capabilities, and the company plans to open-source the model.
