Xiaomi Claims Mysterious Top Model Hunter Alpha: MiMo-V2 Series to Be Open-Sourced, Internal Push for Agent Adoption

Previously, the mysterious model codenamed 'Hunter Alpha' sparked heated discussions on the OpenRouter platform, once topping the large model call list and being guessed by netizens as an early version of DeepSeek V4. In the early hours of March 19, Xiaomi officially claimed the model and launched three large models: MiMo-V2-Pro, Omni, and TTS, offering a one-week free trial.

Luo Fuli, head of Xiaomi's MiMo large model, stated that this is Xiaomi's first full-stack product series for the agent era. The team trained a 1T base model with a 1M context window and MTP inference technology for low latency. She once pushed the team to use agents, requiring members to have over 100 daily conversations or resign. Luo also promised that the MiMo-V2 series will be open-sourced when it becomes stable enough.
