2025 National Data Resources Survey Report Released: Data Volume Up 27.28% YoY, AI-related Data Grows Over 42%

The 2025 National Data Resources Survey Report was released at the 9th Digital China Construction Summit. It shows that China's total data production reached 52.26 ZB in 2025, a 27.28% year-on-year increase, accounting for 27.44% of the global total.

AI training and inference data totaled 199.48 EB, up 42.86% YoY. Notably, inference data (101.34 EB) exceeded training data for the first time.

Jiang Mingtao, director of the National Industrial Information Security Development Research Center, stated that a 27.28% growth rate is high-speed, and this growth mainly comes from enterprise data.
