In February this year, the AI short drama 'Huo Qubing' went viral with claims like '3000 yuan cost, 48-hour production, 80 episodes, 500 million views, 3-person team', seen as a low-cost myth of AI-generated videos. However, this myth was questioned by industry insiders, who said it disrupts the market.

A CCTV News interview with director Yang Hanhan revealed most data were exaggerated: 3000 yuan was only computing power cost (no labor included); 48 hours was pure working time (no rest); 80 episodes and 500 million views were untrue (only 2 versions, views unconfirmed). Only the 3-person team was real, with roles in script/storyboard, AI animation editing, and AI music/sound effects.

The team actually worked about 12 hours a day for 4 days. The Bilibili account 'Yang Hanhan AIGC' used exaggerated titles for promotion, suspected of self-hype followed by clarification.
