Alibaba Encourages Employees to Use AI Tools: Offers Token Credits, DingTalk Launches Wukong AI Native Work Platform
Alibaba Group is rolling out an internal plan to provide employees with token credits, encouraging them to use advanced AI models and tools in their work. Employees can access paid AI tools like Wukong and Qoder series for free for technical research and general office work; they can also apply for reimbursement for purchasing Bailian Coding Plan memberships or external AI development tools.
At the 2026 AI DingTalk 2.0 annual new product launch, DingTalk released the new AI native work platform "Wukong", which is now open for invitation testing and integrated into DingTalk. The platform integrates modules such as task reasoning engine, memory function, and AI workspace, inherits enterprise permission rules, and has a secure sandbox to prevent data leaks or phishing attacks caused by employees configuring OpenClaw. It supports remote access via computers and mobile phones.
