Alibaba's Qwen AI Glasses Adds Real-Time Call and Media Translation

Alibaba's Qwen AI glasses has rolled out an OTA update, adding call translation and media translation, along with better noise handling. Cross-border calls and online meetings can now be translated in real time. When listening to overseas podcasts, taking foreign language classes, or watching foreign films, the translated text shows up at the same time in the Qwen AI wearable app. The Qwen AI glasses G1 went on sale in March this year, followed by the flagship S1 with upgrades in interaction, display, battery life, and hardware. In October, Alibaba launched the Qwen N1 series with a replaceable battery. The Pro version adds eye tracking and all-day health monitoring, starting at 2,899 yuan. This update improves speech recognition in noisy places, making live translation more accurate and timely, and broadens the use of AI glasses in cross-language conversations.
