Alibaba's Qwen3.8-Flash Free Period Extended, Staying Free from October 1

Alibaba Cloud's Qoder platform has announced that the free period for its Qwen3.8-Flash model will be extended. The free access, originally set to end on September 30, 2026, will now continue from October 1, with no end date announced yet.

The offer is open to both new and existing individual Qoder users. During the promotion, the model's billing rate drops from 0.1x to 0.0x, meaning calls do not consume platform Credits. It takes effect automatically with no sign-up needed. Free accounts and those with zero Credits balance can also join, and the daily 100 general Credits will not be deducted by this model.

Qwen3.8-Flash is described as a multimodal model balancing speed and cost, supporting code writing, long document processing, image understanding, and tool calling. It works across Qoder, Qoder IDE, JetBrains plugin, CLI, Cloud Agents, mobile, and web versions.
