According to insiders, Amazon is developing a new phone project codenamed "Transformer", focusing on deep AI integration. It can sync with Alexa and serve as a mobile medium connecting users to Amazon's services, aiming to realize Bezos' vision of an "omnipresent voice-driven computing assistant.

This phone may break away from traditional app store dependence, using local AI to parse user intentions and directly call services. However, the project timeline is unclear, and there's a risk of cancellation due to strategic or financial changes. Amazon's spokesperson declined to comment.
