Ant Group's Bailing Large Model recently released Ring-2.6-1T, a trillion-scale flagship thinking model designed for real-world complex tasks. It introduces an adjustable Reasoning Effort mechanism with two reasoning intensities—high and xhigh—allowing developers to flexibly control thinking depth based on task complexity, balancing effect, speed, and cost.

The high mode is suitable for high-frequency Agent workflows with lower Token costs and faster multi-step execution; the xhigh mode provides sufficient thinking space for complex tasks like math and scientific research. Currently, Ring-2.6-1T is available on OpenRouter with a limited one-week free trial.
