Ant Group's Lingguang AI starts new beta test to rival Meta's Muse
In September, Meta launched its personal agent Muse, which can join users' daily lives and keep track of the tasks they hand over. Personal AI agents are becoming a new trend in the AI industry.
Lingguang, an AI product from Ant Group, has started a small beta test of its new version, aiming to rival Meta Muse. People close to the project said work started about six months ago, with several versions built, and plans to fully open this month.
The key upgrade turns Lingguang from a chatting, app-building AI helper into an AI native personal agent with long-term memory that can push tasks forward on its own. The new version can call Skills and MCP to send DingTalk messages and control smart home devices.
Beta cases focus on long, complex tasks that are hard for people to watch, such as tracking market moves for office workers, managing DingTalk check-ins for parents, or re-planning trips when flights are delayed.
