Anthropic CEO Amodei: AI Development Has No Limits, Could Replace Half of Junior White-Collar Jobs in Five Years

Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei recently stated that AI development is like a rainbow with no end, still having huge potential, and computing power will continue to grow. He pointed out that current social trust in AI is insufficient, limiting the speed of technology diffusion—partly because the industry failed to deliver on past optimistic promises while accumulating many risk warnings.

Amodei emphasized that AI could replace up to 50% of junior white-collar jobs in the next five years. The industry should not downplay this impact but need to let AI create greater positive value. He believes that to solve the trust issue, ideas must be turned into actual results.
