Anthropic launches Claude Tag, an AI team member for better collaboration

Anthropic launched Claude Tag on June 23. It's an AI team member that's an upgraded version of Claude Code, designed to be more proactive and work better in teams. It first came out on Salesforce's Slack platform. Teams can set it up with specific channel access and tools.

Users can assign tasks by @Claude, and the AI does them automatically. Key features include multi-person collaboration, self-learning, async work, and proactive tracking. Anthropic says 65% of their product team's code was made by an internal version of Claude Tag, and it's now used for data tracking and customer service too.
