Anthropic will ask Claude users to verify age or ID starting July 8

Anthropic says that from July 8, Claude Free, Pro, and Max users will need to verify their age or identity to improve service security. Teams, Enterprise, and other business accounts are not affected for now.

Verification can be done by showing an official ID or scanning your face. Anthropic says it doesn't sell user data, Claude stays ad-free, and users can choose if their chats help improve the AI model.
