BMW's Cockpit AI Agent Based on Alibaba's Qwen Large Model Debuts at Beijing Auto Show

BMW's cockpit AI agent, customized with Alibaba's AI capabilities, made its debut at the Beijing Auto Show. Powered by the Qwen large model, it launches three AI agents tailored for the Chinese market: 'Car Expert', 'Travel Partner', and 'Encyclopedia Guru', upgrading from passive response to active decision-making for an 'understandable and reliable' experience.

The 'Travel Partner' can handle complex travel needs via natural language and generate personalized plans with Amap's automotive AI agent; the 'Car Expert' integrates 200,000 BMW professional knowledge entries to provide expert answers. The first model to feature these agents is the new generation BMW iX3 Long Wheelbase Edition, followed by the new BMW 7 Series.
