ByteDance's Volcano Engine launches Seedance film program with up to 1 million RMB per project
During the 10th Pingyao International Film Festival, Volcano Engine, owned by ByteDance, officially launched the Seedance film and TV cooperation program. It offers Token subsidies, promotional resources, and technical support to professional film projects worldwide, with up to 1 million RMB in incentives per project.
The program covers feature films, series, animated works, and creative short films. Partners include production companies, film festival organizations, directors and creative teams, and content and distribution platforms. Projects must be in preparation or production, and 100% of video generation must use Seedance.
ByteDance launched the Seedance 2.5 video AI model in China in July, upgrading single video generation from 15 to 30 seconds with multi-round extension, focusing on long-form storytelling and multimodal editing.
