ChatGPT Client Adds Shazam Music Recognition Feature, No Need to Leave the App to Identify Songs

OpenAI has partnered with Shazam to add music recognition functionality to the ChatGPT client. Users can simply type a query like 'Shazam, what song is playing now?' in the chat to call up the Shazam interface and identify the song.

Before using, users need to manually search for and add Shazam in the Apps section of ChatGPT's settings. Recognition results will be displayed as music cards, supporting direct preview playback—similar to the Shazam experience on Apple Siri.
