China Mobile Releases World's First AI-eSIM Multi-Ecosystem Smart Service System, Operator Number Serves as Big Model Account

The AI-eSIM sub-forum of the 2026 Mobile Cloud Conference was held in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, with the theme 'AI-eSIM: Unleashing a New Era'. It gathered government leaders, academicians, experts and ecological partners to discuss the strategic value and innovative paths of AI-eSIM as a new entry point for Token economy.

Chen Huaida, deputy general manager of China Mobile, stated that the company will implement national strategies to build an AI-eSIM multi-ecosystem smart service system, providing 'Byte+Token+Agent' integrated operation to help create new forms of artificial intelligence. The system includes 1 AI-eSIM chip entry, 3 core engines, and can empower 9 scenarios such as toys, home appliances, and wearables.

China Mobile has launched AI toys, smart air conditioners, etc. in cooperation with Suchao and Midea, promoting AI terminals to 'connect to the Internet upon startup and become intelligent upon connection'. Meanwhile, it has established an AI-eSIM lab with JD.com, Tencent, etc., and launched key scenario cooperation with China UnionPay to accelerate large-scale application.
