China's AI growth and application scale lead the world

China's National Development and Reform Commission recently held a press conference on the 15th Five-Year Plan. Officials said China's AI development speed and application scale now lead the world, with AI moving from labs into factories, farms, and offices.

In industry, over 10,000 advanced smart factories have been built. In agriculture, AI enables more precise field management and cuts pesticide and fertilizer use. In services, AI agents can handle contract reviews, customs filings, tax reports, and insurance claims, creating new "employee plus AI agent" work models.

China is also pushing the World AI Cooperation Organization into full operation, with 38 countries joining as founding members. A research report shows China's AI inference data volume has surpassed training data volume for the first time, marking the shift from model training to large-scale industrial use.
