China's 'Hundred Lobster Battle' Gathers 31 Claw Variants; OpenClaw Founder Names Youdao LobsterAI as Favorite
According to 1M AI News monitoring, OpenClaw maintainer Frank Yang recently shared a list of Chinese Claw variant AI Agent products on X, including 31 domestic products. Tencent has 5 entries (such as WorkBuddy, QClaw), Alibaba Cloud has 3, and Baidu has 2.
Products from ByteDance, Zhipu, Moonlight, and other companies are also on the list, with an ellipsis at the end indicating the number is still growing.
OpenClaw founder Peter Steinberger immediately replied "Love LobsterAI" under the post, naming NetEase Youdao's desktop Agent product Youdao LobsterAI. Launched in February, it integrates with major domestic IM platforms like WeChat and WeCom, making it one of the few products with full coverage.
