Claude mobile app update: voice mode comes to CarPlay with 24 new languages

Anthropic has rolled out an update to its Claude mobile app, covering iPhone, iPad, Android, Chromebook, web and desktop. The highlight is that voice mode on iPhone now works with Apple CarPlay, so drivers can talk to Claude without taking their hands off the wheel. iPhone and iPad will also soon get a pull-down search to quickly find past chats or projects. On iPad and iPhone Duo, Claude's answers now show side by side with the chat, making it easy to read documents or code while talking. iOS and Android support staying logged in to multiple accounts at once, and Android on large or foldable screens gets sidebars, touchpad support and keyboard shortcuts. Claude also added 24 new languages, bringing the total to 33. Voice mode responds faster, handles noisy places better, sounds more natural in non-English languages, and works on more Android phones.
