DeepSeek Extends V4 Pro API Service and Reveals Pricing

Chinese AI company DeepSeek announced it will continue offering API access to DeepSeek V4 Pro after September 14, 2026, keeping the same pricing. The company had previously planned to shut down the service on that date.

According to official pricing, V4 Pro costs 0.15 yuan per million tokens for cached input during off-peak hours and 0.30 yuan during peak hours. Output costs 13.5 yuan off-peak and 27.0 yuan at peak. The Flash model is significantly cheaper than the Pro version.

DeepSeek recently launched the V4.1 Flash model, the smallest version in its new architecture series, featuring native multimodal visual understanding. Benchmark tests show it outperforms several flagship models, including V4 Pro, in intelligence.
