Digua Robotics Secures $120M Series B1 Funding, ByteDance and Meituan Among Investors
Digua Robotics recently closed a $120 million Series B1 funding round. Investors include ByteDance (via affiliate Synstellation Capital), Didi, Meituan Longzhu, and institutions like Bairui Capital. Existing shareholders such as Hillhouse Ventures and Vertex Growth (under Temasek) also participated.
Founded in early 2024 as a spin-off from Horizon Robotics' robotics division, it raised $100 million in Series A in 2025, totaling $220 million. Funds will support full-stack R&D, product iteration, and building an embodied intelligence tech base.
Amid humanoid robot sector challenges like computing power and power consumption, Digua focuses on underlying systems (chips, algorithms). Its shipments grew 180% YoY, powering product upgrades. CEO Wang Cong noted unresolved power issues hinder scaling, and the industry needs to cross the ROI gap.
