Doubao Adds One-Stop Travel Services for Flights, Trains, Rides and Navigation

Doubao, the AI assistant from ByteDance, now supports a range of travel services. Users can describe what they need in a chat, like booking a flight or calling a car to the airport, and Doubao will understand and handle it without switching between apps.

On top of hotel and restaurant booking, the update adds flight booking, train ticket purchase, ride-hailing and route navigation, covering everything from long-distance travel to getting around town. Doubao also launched a dedicated travel entry point featuring top picks across maps, transport, hotels, food and entertainment.

The service relies on partnerships with several leading providers. Flight and train bookings are handled with Flight Manager and High-Speed Rail Manager, ride-hailing works with Caocao Mobility, and navigation is supported by Baidu Maps, offering route planning and real-time guidance for buses, subways, driving and walking.
