Douyin has recently intensified efforts to govern AI-generated pornographic and vulgar content, strictly cracking down on various violations. The platform found some users using AI to create edge content like 'ambiguous interactions with single mothers' and 'seductive dances by women', violating the Community Self-Discipline Convention.

Since this year, Douyin has handled 42,000 AI-generated pornographic and vulgar content violations, and imposed penalties such as restricted recommendations, mute, and account bans on 14,000 accounts, adhering to strict and severe handling of violations.
