Get Paid for Housework? JD Launches Data Collection Community in Suqian
Tired of chores? Now, doing housework can become a well-paid 'job'. JD.com, together with Suqian city, has launched the country's first embodied intelligence data collection community. Residents can earn money by simply wearing a lightweight headset while doing daily tasks like wiping tables, folding clothes, and tidying up.
The device, called JoyEgoCam, weighs only 220 grams. It accurately records key data like arm movements and force distribution, providing 'data fuel' for robots to learn about the real world. JD plans to collect over 10 million hours of real-world video data in two years to solve a major bottleneck in embodied AI.
Data collection now covers over 100 scenarios, including homes, factories, farms, and nursing homes. For example, in a garment factory, collectors record fine operations like sewing and cutting. In a farm, they capture hand-eye coordination for picking fruits. This data will train smarter robots to help in homes and industries.
If you're interested, keep an eye on JD's recruitment in Suqian. It's a chance to earn extra income and contribute to the future of AI.
