GMO AIR becomes official distributor of Unitree Robotics in Japan, selling humanoid robots

GMO AI & Robotics Business (GMO AIR), a subsidiary of GMO Internet Group, announced a partnership agreement with China's Unitree Robotics on June 19, becoming its official distributor in Japan. GMO AIR will sell Unitree's humanoid robots like G1 and H1, plus quadruped robots Go 2 and B2 in Japan. They'll offer complete solutions including communication services, cloud computing, and cybersecurity, and can provide R&D and commercial applications on demand. The company has set up Japan's largest physical AI R&D base in Shibuya, Tokyo, capable of testing multiple brands of humanoid robots simultaneously. These robots will be used in airports, logistics, inspections, and security.
