Gree Electric: Has Ability to Independently Develop & Produce Humanoid Robots, Industrial Robots Boost Efficiency by 80%

Gree Electric's CMO Zhu Lei recently stated that the company has the ability to make humanoid robots, with all components independently developed and produced. Currently, Gree has put over 2,000 self-developed industrial robots into use, increasing production efficiency by 80%.

Last year, Dong Mingzhu, Gree's chairman, mentioned the company has been developing robots for years and collaborated with many Fortune 500 firms on custom products, planning to accelerate AI layout next. In 2024, Gree responded on the investor platform that it has deepened in industrial robot tech like servo motors, with robot loads covering 1kg-600kg for scenarios like mechanical manufacturing and auto parts processing.
