Half of Claude users say AI now does over 50% of their work

Anthropic surveyed about 9,700 Claude users and found AI is now a big part of many jobs. 33% said AI handles 30% to 60% of their tasks, 14% said 60% to 90%, and about 4% said Claude can do everything. In the next year, 26% expect AI to take over most of their work.

The top tasks for Claude are writing marketing copy (80%), blog posts (81%), and database queries (82%). Anthropic says users everywhere, no matter their experience or industry, agree on how fast AI is changing. They call this a 'rising tide' for AI skills.

New workers use AI the most and worry about being replaced, but heavy Claude users feel more confident and valued. Most people want to work with AI, not be replaced by it, and hope the benefits are shared widely.
