Hong Kong launches HKGAI V3 AI model and productivity-level super agent
The Hong Kong Generative AI R&D Center (HKGAI) has officially launched the HKGAI V3 large model, along with Hong Kong's first productivity-level super agent. Funded by the Hong Kong government's InnoHK program, this model is the core engine for local AI development, achieving over 10x improvement in token compression efficiency and nearly 100x longer agent runtime without human intervention.
The new super agent, built on Agent Workshop, can run stably for 28 hours straight in tests, handling complex tasks. The model is optimized for Hong Kong's local language and habits, making its output more natural for local users.
HKGAI has also teamed up with Hong Kong Wave Cloud and three major telecom operators to offer AI computing power and smart services overseas. The HKGAI government-business all-in-one device, powered by V3, supports local reasoning and keeps data on-site, meeting Hong Kong's privacy rules for use in government, finance, healthcare, and other high-security areas.
