Japanese AI startup Sakana AI has released the Fugu Cyber model, designed to handle the complexity of modern cyber defense. It achieved impressive scores on tough security benchmarks: 86.9% on CyberGym and 72.1% on CTI-REALM, even beating OpenAI GPT-5.5-Cyber and Anthropic Claude Mythos-Preview. Fugu Cyber is a multi-agent system wrapped in a single API, dynamically arranging expert agents for complex tasks. Sakana AI also offers on-site deployment of AI-driven cybersecurity solutions with support from its enterprise team.
