Jensen Huang to visit South Korea this week for AI and robot talks with top business leaders
Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of Nvidia, is expected to visit South Korea this week for meetings with top business leaders from SK Group, LG Group, Naver, and Hyundai Motor. The talks will focus on cooperation in AI chips, robots, and physical AI.
After attending Computex in Taipei, Huang will arrive in Seoul on Thursday evening and start meetings on Friday. SK Group chairman Chey Tae-won, LG Group chairman Koo Kwang-mo, and Naver founder Lee Hae-jin are expected to attend. Hyundai Motor executive chairman Chung Eui-sun is also considering joining. Samsung chairman Lee Jae-yong is unlikely to attend due to overseas travel.
Sources say Naver is in talks with Nvidia to arrange a visit by Huang to its second office building on Monday. In March, AMD chair Lisa Su visited the same site and signed an AI infrastructure deal.
